Ask the Right Questions

Start by asking yourself, and the other members of your organization, questions like:

  • What are your core values?
  • What are your strengths?
  • What are your weaknesses?
  • What sets you apart from your biggest competitors?

By considering each buyer persona and utilizing the answers your company comes up with for these (and other) questions, you will be able to align your key messages to each potential buyer much more easily and effectively.

The End Result

The goal of all of this is to communicate well with your customers and your potential buyers. Knowing who your target audience is only makes up half the battle! In order to reach them effectively, you’ve got to speak their language — and you won’t know which language they speak until you’ve asked yourself the right questions and thought about your buyer personas.
Once you’ve figured out how to communicate with your target audience, you can start creating key messages so that your buyers fully understand what you’re offering them — and they want to buy from you because they feel like you get them.
