The Uptick team is filled with some of the biggest hearts known to man. Between Bo’s heart of gold and W’s tears of joy, we certainly have enough love to celebrate Valentine’s Day properly. But even though I was already aware of how loving our crew was, I didn’t have a firm grasp on what it was that they loved the most – so I decided to ask! Here’s what they had to say.
What Uptick Loves
In the least shocking revelation to those who know him, Jerry loves lamp. Joey, however, isn’t fully convinced. He had the gall to ask Jerry if he really loved lamp, or if he was just saying that.
Nicole, our fantastic Managing Partner, loves God, her kiddo, her husband (who happens to be the great Joey Beachum), and the Uptick Team (we love her back!).
Much like Nicole, Anne, our in-house wordmaster, loves God, family, and friends, with the addition of tea (she’s been off coffee since October and honestly we don’t know how we feel about that). And of course – she loves words!
SEO guru Lance feels butterflies in his stomach for food, family, and friends – in that order, while the incredible Dawn is crushing on her job at Uptick.
Much like Jimmy Buffett, Caleb (no link yet because he’s not on the website, sorry Caleb) enjoys both pina coladas AND getting caught in the rain. We haven’t checked to see if he’s not into yoga or has half a brain, but we will keep everyone updated as the situation develops.
W, who’s been dealing with trust issues after a certain blog writer accidentally broke his heart by crushing his sand dollar, said he loves ALMOST everyone in the office. We can only hope these issues get resolved as the year progresses.
Rounding out the love train is Michael, who loves his cat dearly, even though it uses his arm as a scratching post on every day that ends with “Y.” If that’s not love, I don’t want to know what is.
As for me? I’m a man of many joys, but only one thing can truly lay claim to this weary old heart – tacos.
