Reports To: Marketing Consultant Manager
As an Account Manager, your primary job is to support a Marketing Consultant by helping them provide outstanding service to their clients. This will include attending meetings, assisting with client communication, and directly managing a select group of clients under the supervision of a Marketing Consultant. While you may act as the lead on these accounts, you will still have an MC heavily involved in those accounts and meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Support a Marketing Consultant by helping them provide outstanding service to their clients. This may include attending meetings, assisting with client communication, and checking projects in Teamwork as needed.
- Directly manage a select group of clients under the supervision of a Marketing Consultant.
- Lead weekly and monthly meetings for your group of clients, providing consultation on analytics to ensure progress on marketing campaigns.
- Manage client communication through email, addressing inquiries and providing timely responses.
- Engage with clients via phone calls, in-person visits, and email to foster effective communication.
- Generate and review weekly analytics reports for each of the clients you are managing. You may also be asked to do this for a Marketing Consultant if needed.
- Assist in the direction and strategy of all creative campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and overall marketing goals.
- Submit support tickets for production tasks based on client requirements as needed (this will be a Project Manager responsibility first, but there may be times you need to step in).
- Create strategies for the clients you are taking the lead on, and assist the MC with strategies for their clients as needed.
- Create addendums for strategy changes and upsells and send them to the client for approval.
- Identify potential business opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Reconcile services billed with services provided, and communicating with internal staff to make sure the client’s budget and billing match the services provided
- Stay informed about the latest marketing trends and advise clients on best practices.
