Cyber Monday is just around the corner – is your business ready? If you are a business-to-consumer (B2C) business with anything for sale online, then Cyber Monday is a perfect opportunity for you to improve your brand’s message and drive traffic to your website.
What are people doing all day on Cyber Monday? Shopping online!
Your business can take advantage of this online shopping day by putting your ads and business message in front of buyers. There are several ways to do this, with a few options outlined below:
Invest in Online Advertising
Did you know that there are ways to put YOUR business ad across 80-90% of the entire internet and only target those who have recently visited your website? This is known as ad retargeting (see the graphic below). Additionally, you can create ads that target a certain market (location, age, etc.) and have your ad appear on their favorite website.
Get Social – Engage on Social Media
One thing is certain, in addition to being on hot shopping websites, your target audience will be social pretty much from now until Christmas (especially on Black Friday and Cyber Monday). Therefore, post frequently, share your deals, and even “boost” your posts in order to increase your reach (the number of people who see your ads). Check out the infographic below with Cyber Monday social media tips.
Use Email Marketing
Do you have an email list? Use it! Between now and Cyber Monday, send out emails letting your target audience know about upcoming deals and then send them another email on Cyber Monday reminding them to take advantage of the offer. The best thing? It doesn’t have to be anything special! Check out the email below for an example of what one of our clients is doing.
There is one thing certain about Cyber Monday – your target market will be online. Utilize these tips to take advantage of the captive audience and get your business’s message (and deals) to the masses!
