Who does your organization benefit/serve?
Dream Makerz Outreach was created to bring professional salon experiences to shelters, low income communities, foster care facilities, and underprivileged students.
What makes your organization unique?
Participation and interaction of youth surged the mentoring branch of this great organization. Passion for hair, beauty, and nails make this nonprofit one of a kind for young girls and young adults.That positive energy for beauty is then channeled to teach life lessons such as:
1.Customer Service Skills
The beauty profession’s one trade that will always be a prominent structure of society. We have intertwined love for people, need for knowledge, and theory of cosmetology to create this dynamic outreach.

Dream Makerz Outreach deserves this makeover for several reasons.
1. Because we are the ONLY COSMETOLOGY/beauty based nonprofit in Birmingham that has direct contact with inner city shelters, Foster Youth ALL over ALABAMA, and a partnership with Birmingham Housing Authority being the bridge that creates beauty opportunities for the underprivileged.
2.Through our influence we would be able to appeal to more professionals in our field of beauty which in turn will grant us with a wider range of barbers, cosmetologists, make-up artists, and nail techs who can volunteer their time, talents, and gifts to remold Birmingham into Alabama The Beautiful
3. Our slogan is “When you look good, yo u feel good!” What better way would we be more effective? To be able to have the honor of having a organizational makeover, when we have made an impact over so many in our community! That would be so epic to have the privilege to receive what we give and experience being on the receiving end of our vision statement, LOOK GOOD. FEEL
