The Magic City Makeover is one of our favorite ways to give back to Birmingham, and our team is all in! Each one of us is excited to participate in the makeover of one lucky nonprofit in our community.
So, what exactly can you get for $35,000? We’re so glad you asked.
March 15th — Applications available (Here!)
April 30th — Applications due.
May 15th — The top 15 finalists are announced! You could be among them!
May 18 – 25th — Voting. Spread the word and get those votes!
May 31st — Magic City Makeover Event – Winners revealed.
To qualify, you must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the Greater Birmingham area.
We have decided to expand Uptick’s Magic City Marketing Makeover to have two categories.
– General Nonprofit
– Christian Nonprofit
You can only apply for one category. There will be one winner in each category.
All applicants must complete the online application. Submission of a video is recommended; however, it is not a requirement. If you choose to submit a video please know that quality is not important. Videos should be at least 30 seconds long, but no longer than 2 minutes. Please upload your video to YouTube and then provide us with the link in your application.
In the video, make sure you cover details about your organization, including why you need Uptick Marketing’s help. Some of these videos will be shared on our social media channel as well as at the Magic City Makeover winner reveal event.
