Austin has always loved sports and competition. He played baseball for 12 years and soccer for four, and was even first-chair trumpet in middle school (first-chair means you’re the best and playing the hardest music and solos).
By the time he attended college at UAB, his schedule was cluttered with lessons and homework, so his main pastime after class was gaming, specifically Call of Duty.
Growing up, Austin thought he’d be a lawyer because he liked to argue, but life had other plans. Austin and his dad started a marketing agency with zero experience, and what began as a leap of faith quickly turned into a passion. After building the agency from the ground up and gaining valuable hands-on experience, Austin decided to pursue a digital marketing degree and take his skills to the next level.
Now, as a Digital Advertising Specialist at Uptick, Austin helps businesses grow by managing PPC, social media ads, and retargeting campaigns, working alongside our Marketing Consultants to ensure every client gets a tailored strategy.
Outside the office, Austin is always on the move. He plays pickleball and softball and regularly hits the gym, but he also enjoys nightly walks while listening to music. He’s known for organizing game nights, movie nights, and escape room adventures with friends. This year, he decided to take on a new challenge: learning how to DJ. Mixing tracks has quickly become a creative outlet that blends his love for music and new experiences.
While Austin’s a self-described neat freak who avoids pet hair by staying pet-free, he still enjoys animals. He’s also got some quirks—like being perfectly content going two days without saying a word.
At Uptick, Austin’s energy, curiosity, and drive make him a natural fit for the fast-paced world of digital advertising.
