Originally from sunny South Florida, Jessica Mercer moved to Jasper, Alabama, during her last year of high school. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she initially studied nursing and accounting.
Even before she switched to marketing, Jessica analyzed how brands could promote themselves more effectively. After a few pivots and plenty of self-discovery, that curiosity has grown into a career she’s truly passionate about: Helping businesses tell their stories and connect with audiences meaningfully through digital marketing. Outside of work, Jessica loves spending time with her golden retriever, Zoey—her “little ray of sunshine”—going outdoors, running, relaxing on the lake, and taking spontaneous day trips to one of her favorite spots, such as Nashville.
