Jillian Tombul

Project Manager

As a child, Jillian dreamed of becoming a rockstar, and that same energy and drive shape her outgoing personality today. While attending Samford University, Jillian balanced a full schedule, ministering to youth through Younglife, engaging in sorority events, joining book clubs, and pursuing her lifelong love of dance.

Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jillian is the youngest and only daughter in a family of four children. Her three older brothers now reside just two hours away in Nashville, while Jillian has made Alabama her home. Back in Chattanooga, she grew up surrounded by animals, including four cats, four chickens, and Daisy, her cherished Saint Bernard.

One unique trait of Jillian’s—that most Uptickians wish we could relate to— is that she is a “morning person.” Most mornings, Jillian wakes up around half an hour before her alarm, well-rested and ready to seize the day. Her lively personality shines through in her project management role, though she faces stiff competition for “Most Talkative Uptick Employee.”

When Jillian isn’t managing client projects, she bakes gluten-free treats, spends time with her roommates and their cat, Lemon, and explores the natural beauty of Alabama and Tennessee. When her birthday rolls around in April, the team will celebrate with lunch at Cava or Taco Mama, her favorite spots.

How to Win Her Favor
Surprise her with popcorn, kettle corn, or sour candy; you’ll instantly make her day.
Her Weirdest Pet
Lemon—the cat that Jillian shares with her roommates—amusingly acts more like a dog.
Most Surprising Quirk
Eating gluten-free despite not having celiac disease or a gluten allergy.
