Do my eyes deceive me?! Do I spy a new face in the office?
It’s Emily Duval, our newest team member! After Bo and W joined our team, us ladies were getting a little outnumbered in the office. But not anymore! We’ve got another female on our team now, a true fashionista at that (But forreal, Emily. Can I borrow all of your shoes? Your style is amazing!).
Who Is Emily Duval?
A graduate of Samford University, Emily is joining our team as a Digital Content Specialist. She will be working hand-in-hand with our SEO department and is excited to get a firsthand look at digital PR work with help from Joey.
When Emily isn’t writing digital content for our clients, she enjoys cheering for her favorite college football team, Florida State (Go, Noles!), and watching baseball. She also enjoys running, and says, “I have never done a full marathon, but the London Marathon is my dream!”
Lucky for us, Emily also enjoys baking and home brewing (so do we, Emily! So do we.).
Home: the Magic City
At Uptick, Birmingham has been such an integral part of our success and growth. So, we love when new friends share our passion for the Magic City. Emily is no stranger to the art and food districts of Birmingham.
She likes visiting the Birmingham Museum of Art, Pepper Place Farmer’s Market, and Regions Field for Baron’s games (see why we like her so much already?). She has a Tuesday night tradition of attending the good ol’ dollar theatre. And she says, however #basic it may be, she isn’t afraid to claim Taco Mama and Davenport’s Pizza as her favorite places to grub!
